    Desert Hills Middle School Demolition & Utility Main Line Relocation Kennewick WA.
    The demolition of Desert Hills Middle School in Kennewick consisted of approx. 72,000 square feet of building area. It was constructed of concrete, steel, CMB, and other materials. Andrist Ent. recycled approx. 90% of all building materials including all of the steel, concrete, and CMB. We crushed all of the concrete and CMB (approx. 4000 cubic yards) onsite for use in filling low areas in preparation for the new parking lot.

    Westgate Elementary Demolition and Uncontrolled Fill Excavation Kennewick WA.
    The demolition of Westgate School in Kennewick consisted of approx. 34,000 square feet of building area. It was constructed mainly of concrete, brick, wood and steel. Andrist Ent. recycled all of the concrete, brick and steel. We crushed all of the concrete and brick onsite, approx. 1750 cubic yards, for use in filling the deep basement under the school. We also excavated approx. 5300 cubic yards of uncontrolled fill so it could be reused for engineered fill onsite.

    The demolition of the Theater at Columbia Center consisted of approx. 18,000 square feet of building area. Much of the building was 30' tall. It was constructed of mainly concrete, steel, CMB and wood. There were some very large wood laminated beams supporting the roof, the largest measuring approx. 11" thick by 46" wide by 55' long. Andrist Ent. salvaged and recycled approx. 90% of the building materials.
